Provocative Questions
An initial stable of provocative questions that the members will add to, and choose from, for our bi-monthly sessions.
1. How should we combat and respond to the onset of disease that is obviously related to lifestyle choices?
2. How do create systemic health education for consumer so that they are more aware of what is happening to their body?
3. How much of the dysfunction of healthcare costs is related to the lack of an economic relationship between the consumer and the clinician?
4. Is there a benefit to enable patient knowledge, prior ro access, in relevant transparency of outcomes, protocols, costs, providers, complexity, schedule availabilty, and in what form?
5. How could data sciences, AI, personal (physical and emotional) data, real-time, affect the health value provision?
6. Given the extensive education (educational debt) long, emotionally and physically draining internships and residencies, daily responsibility for lives, are doctors under paid, perhaps underappreciated? Is this partially due to the lower Medicare reimbursements rates?
7. As the population get older and sicker, How can we provide better care at lower cost? Is the answer better managed pools of comparable risk?
8. How can drug discovery be shortened, include more people, at lower cost, with better results? (Better to look at the whole FDA process?)
9. Current value chain relationships throughout all health parties, are many to many, in fact virtually all to all. How do we increase efficiency of this relatively unmanaged value network?
